My name is Mu, and I am a freelance Concept Artist & Illustrator who uses traditional painting techniques through digital media. Stylistically, I endeavor to blend East Asian aesthetics with Western painting traditions to create compelling character driven visual narratives.
My clients have included Marvel Online, the Discovery Channel, Paizo Publishing, AEG, Fantasy Flight Games, Games Workshop, Mongoose Publishing, IllFonic, and Warner Brothers where I have worked on projects ranging from internal concept artwork to illustrations for print.
I also maintain a separate ART BLOG for random musings, dreaming, and artistic meandering all involving the sublime act of doodling.
